Protests: Katsina Loosens Curfew

The Katsina State Government has reduced limitations on mobility through modifications to the curfew enforced throughout the state. Previously limiting travel from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, the curfew will now start at 10:00 PM and last until 5:00 AM every day.
The Secretary to the State Government, Abdullahi Garba Faskari, disclosed this in a statement. According to him, the decision to ease the curfew was with immediate effect, following an assessment of the security situation by Acting Governor Malam Faruk Lawal.
The Acting Governor expressed satisfaction with the improvement in security, applauding both security personnel and residents for their cooperation during the heightened restrictions.
He urged residents to continue to be law-abiding and cooperate with the government in ensuring lasting peace and security in the state.
The relaxed curfew is expected to provide relief for residents and businesses previously impacted by the restrictions.
