Association Drums Support for Tinubu, Kaura In Kebbi

The newly formed association, Tinubu Kauran Gwandu Continuity Movement (TKG), has lauded the developmental strides of both Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The leaders and hundreds of members of the association marched to the Government House in Birnin Kebbi this Wednesday, from the venue of their meeting, to express their support and solidarity for the numerous developmental projects in the state.
In his remarks at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, the Chairman of TKG, Alhaji Kabiru Labbo-Jega, stated that the association was widely spread across the state, with a mission to highlight the governor’s people-oriented initiatives to the world.
According to him, the movement is well-structured to mobilize support for the governor and promote the achievements of both the governor and the president.
He praised the recent empowerment program by Governor Nasir, which he noted has positively impacted 65,000 people in the state.
Labbo-Jega said, “We have a mission to bring a new dawn in the political history of Kebbi.
The Director General of TKG, Alhaji Kabiru Sani-Giant, in his remarks, described Governor Nasir Idris as a God-given leader full of generosity.
He commended the Governor for his benevolence and commitment to societal development.
He assured the governor of unwavering grassroots support and solidarity in his quest to develop the state.
We appreciate what you are doing for the state, and we are ready to support your cause.
You have modernized Birnin Kebbi, built roads, and provided food and fertilizer for free.
“What you see here is the state executives and local government executives that are here for a courtesy visit,” he said.
He further stated that the association is fully supported by the Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Umar Ahmed Farouk, to promote the projects of President Tinubu and Governor Idris.
In response, Governor Nasir Idris expressed his gratitude to the leaders and members of the association for their collective solidarity with his administration.
He encouraged the people to adopt the habit of constructive criticism against any government to promote a healthy democracy.
The governor reiterated that no amount of criticism would deter him from doing what is best for the citizens.
“If you want to criticize, do so with verifiable facts. Kauran Gwandu will not call anybody and give them money. Kebbi government’s money belongs to the people of Kebbi,” he assured.
