Emir Of of Yauri Rates Efforts Of Kauran Gwandu On Security, Devt High

The Emir of Yauri, Dr. Muhammad Zayyanu Abdullahi says the efforts of Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris on security and development must be commended.

According to him, what the Kauran Gwandu’s administration had achieved in one year was more than what other governments did in eight years.

The royal father made the statement recently during an interview with him in Yauri on the one-year anniversary of the incumbent administration of Dr.Nasir Idris in office .

” As I have been saying ,what this government did in one year is more than what other governments did in eight years.

‘ That is a sign that more developments will come, most importantly on security,” he averred.

He said it is the mandate of federal and state governments to make sure there is security everywhere because without security nothing tangible will be achieved.

Abdullahi applauded the efforts and the serious determination of the governor in ensuring peace not only in his domain but across the entire state .

‘ Before this government came, the insurgents started to cross over from other places to Yauri.

‘ What they wanted was to make a camp here, so that those they kidnapped from other places ,they bring them down here.

‘”Fortunately, the governor is serious about this issue,he took active measures by establishing a military camp in strategic areas so that we have peace,”he said.

The Yauri monarch said the resultant efforts of Governor Nasir Idris on security in his domain was that farmers have gone back to their farms while traders were shuttling from one market to another doing their business without hindrance.

” The most important thing any government can do first is to ensure peace and security and Kaura did that.

”Security is not a monopoly of one person, we have to support the governor,” he appealed.

Dr. Zayyanu was also appreciative on the efforts of the governor towards providing infrastructural development in Yauri.

He cited the construction of a Secondary School and additional five kilometers township roads in Yauri as part of the giant strides of Dr. Nasir Idris’s administration to the people of Yauri Emirate.

He said, “There is spread of development, he didn’t concentrate only in one area alone.”‘
