On Thursday, no indications of protests were seen during an early morning tour of Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State. There were no recorded gatherings in the locations that were visited.
At the popular post office along the Lokoja-Kabba/Okene road, traders were seen cautiously opening their shops halfway, carefully assessing the safety situation before fully opening.
