Estam University set to Honour 6 Prominent Nigerians with Honourary Doctorate Degrees
The city of Cotonou in the republic of Benin is set to play host to prominent world class citizens, as Africa’s foremost tertiary educational institution of Choice, The Estam University Benin, has billed Friday the 28th of October 2022, as the formal date for it convocation ceremony, where illustrious and cerebral citizens who have contributed to the development of humanity will be conferred with Honourary Doctorate degrees in recognition of their contributions in Making the world a better place.
The exclusive and high octane ceremony which will hold at the exquisite Palais des Congres will feature 6 prominent Nigerians from different works of life. Leading the pack is federal lawmaker Hon Hafiz Ibrahim kawu OON, the federal lawmaker Representing the good people of Tarauni federal Constituency in the house of Representatives.
The list also has Dr. Aisha Shehu Adamu a trained medical doctor with years of experience in Nigeria’s health sector providing cutting edge Medical services to patients. Dr. Aisha is the Chief Medical Director of the federal medical centre Jalingo a tertiary health solutions provider.
Also in the list is Sola Sobowale a veteran actress who has starred in over a thousand Nollywood flicks cornering several awards as result of her creativity and ingenuity in the industry.
Not done, Hajiya Halima Pariya a Politician and Director general Doorstep Mission for Atiku/Okowa 2023 is part of the honorees due to her commitment to deepening democracy and good Governance as well as her numerous philantrophic engagements.
The list is not exhaustive as it has Philip Babalola, Chief executive of foremost real-estate company, Uvest realty limited and Awoyungbo Olugbenga Jackson, Chief executive of Fierce Nation Nigeria, a leading record label in the Nigerian entertainment sector where popular musician and winner of the 2021 big brother Naija Laycon is currently signed.
The event which promises to be entertaining and educative will witness presentation of awards to deserving students and cultural displays, thus bringing to the fore the richness of the African culture which has refused to go extinct despite the invasion by Western culture.
