Gov Idris Commends Book Author For Contribution To Literary Work
Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu has commended the author of
“Computer Application Packages”, Dr. Zayyanu Umar for publication of the book.
Idris described the literature work of the author as remarkable contribution to literature for students, saying that the author should be celebrated for his effort.
The governor, represented by Alhaji Zayyanu Sanka,Special Adviser on Pilgrims Matters, made the remarks at the book launch organised by Makerar Gandu Development Association, MADA, in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday .
According to the Governor, “Dr. Zayyanu Umar’s work is not merely a literary endeavor but a profound exploration of culture, Identity, and the human experience.
“We gather here to celebrate and launch the distinguished author, Dr. Zayyanu Umar and his remarkable Contribution to literature through the Book, titled “Computer Application Packages.
‘ Umar’s commitment, dedication to education and intellectual development must be commended especially for this noble cause’ ,he averred.
The Governor further acknowledged the significance of promoting and preserving our rich cultural heritage while stressing the need to supporting and recognizing the efforts of scholars like Dr. Zayyanu Umar which according to him was vital for the progress of our society.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Chairman of Makerar Gandu Development Association (MADA) , Alhaji Aminu Zaki described the Book as very valuable to students and called on Kebbi State Government to help in spreading the Book to Secondary and Tertiary institutions throughout the State
Alh. Zayyanu Sanka launched the Book on behalf of Kebbi State Governor at the Sum of One Million Naira (1,000,000), Alhaji Umar Idris Buro launched it at N900,000, Alhaji Abubakar Chika Commissioner for Finance, at N500,000, Alhaji Bello Ibrahim Nahaliku, Accountant General, at N500,000, Alhaji Hassan Altine, N500,000, Alhaji Faruku Enabo N500,000 while Hon. Babangida Gulumbe launched the book at N200,000 and many More.
