Gov Idris Condoles With Family Of Late Mukhtar, Chair LGSC
Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu has condoled with the family of Malam Mukhtar Abubakar, the Elder brother of his wife, Hajiya Zainab Nasare who died on Thursday of a brief illness.
The Governor who was accompanied by the former Governor of the State, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari, Speaker, SSG, Head of Service and other top government officials were at the family residence of the deceased at Makerar Gandu, Birnin Kebbi to offer their condolences.
The Governor prayed Allah to forgive Mallam Mukhtari Abubakar
and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Special prayers led by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Religious Affairs, Engr. Imrana Usman were offered for the repose of the soul of late Islamic Scholar, Mallam Mukhtari Abubakar.
Late Mallam Mukhtari died at the Federal Medical Centre Birnin Kebbi on Thursday of a brief illness at the age of 76.
He is survived by one wife, fifteen children and many grand children.
In the same vein, Governor Nasir Idris was at the home of Wazirin Gwandu, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar in Nasarawa to condole with him on the death of Alhaji Mansur Shehu, Dan Galadiman Wazirin Gwandu who passed away recently in Abuja.
The Governor expressed deep shock over the demise of Alhaji Mansur Shehu, the Chairman of Kebbi State Local Government Service Commission.
Governor Nasir Idris who recalled his last moments with the deceased,prayed Allah to grant him mercy and admit him into Aljannah Firdausi.
Special prayers were held for the repose of the soul of late Mansur.
