Gov Idris Mourns The Passing Of Gwandu Community Leader

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the people of Gwandu following the passing of Mallam Umaru Hassan, Sarkin Mallamai Garin Gwandu.
The revered Islamic cleric, aged 99, passed away on Sunday after a prolonged illness.
During a condolence visit to the family in Gwandu on Monday, Governor Idris expressed his profound sympathy to the eldest son, Alhaji Sanusi Umar, Director of Finance at the Federal Airports Aviation Authority (FAAN), and the entire family.
“No words can fill the void left by the passing of our father, Mallam Umaru Hassan Sarkin Mallamai, but we pray to Allah to grant him mercy and admit him into Aljannah Firdausi,” the governor said.
Responding on behalf of the family, Alhaji Sanusi Umar thanked the governor for his personal visit and his compassion for the people of Gwandu. He prayed for Allah’s blessings and rewards upon the governor.
Late Mallam Umaru Hassan is survived by his wife, 11 children, and numerous grandchildren, including Mallam Faruq Umar, a retired staff of the Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kebbi, and Alhaji Sanusi Umar of FAAN.
