Gov Idris Takes APC Campaign Rally To Dandi, Arewa LGAs

Governor Nasir Idris has urged the people of Dandi and Arewa Local Government Areas to cast their votes for the APC with renewed vigour in the rerun elections in some polling units scheduled for the 3rd of February, 2024.

Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris, made the request at separate campaign rallies in Buma town, Dandi Local Government and Kangiwa, in Arewa Local Government for the Arewa/Dandi Federal Constituency, this Monday.

The Governor thanked the people of the two local Government Areas for voting massively for the APC in the 2023 general elections, urging them not only to maintain the tempo but also to increase the tally for the party.

Speaking in Buma Town, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris presented the APC candidate to the House of Representatives, Hon. Garba Rabiu Kamba, (Dankane) and urged them to return him to the National Assembly as they voted for him in 2023.

He reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to the upliftiment of the wellbeing of people of the state in social and economic sectors.

The State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Kana Zuru, informed the people of Buma, that Governor Nasir Idris was leading all top stakeholders of the APC and the Government to express appreciation to them and solicit for their support to cast massive votes for the APC in this Saturday’s rerun elections.

“Governor Nasir Idris has fulfilled his promises to you, what remains is to reciprocate the gesture by affirming your support to the APC ruling party”, he said.

Addressing thousands of APC supporters at Kangiwa, headquarters of Arewa Local Government, Gov Idris told them that he was visiting the area to thank them for their support to him during the last general elections and since assuming power as governor.

He appealed to them to double their votes for the APC in the rerun election on Saturday by electing Hon.Garba Rabiu Kamba to return to the House of Representatives.

Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris said developmental projects started by his administration would be all encompasssing and reaffirmed commitment to women and youths empowerment.

In his remarks, Kebbi State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Kana Zuru expressed confidence that the ten polling units in Arewa Local government area where the rerun elections would be held would be won by the APC in view of the high benevolence and compassion of Governor Nasir Idris to uplift the living condition of the people of the area.

Other speakers at the rally were the APC Chairman for Arewa Local Government, Alhaji Sani Zamarke , the Chairman, Arewa Local Government Council, Hon. Sani Aliyu Kulita, the Chairman, Adamu Augie College of Education, Governing Board, Argungu ,Dr. Hussaini Suleiman Kangiwa, the Commissioner for Empowerment and Humanitarian Affairs, Muhammad Hamidu Jarkuka and the member, House of Assembly representing Arewa Constituency, Hon Nura Kangiwa.

They pledged to ensure total victory for the APC in the ten polling units where rerun elections would take place in the six wards of the local Government Area.
