During the recent catastrophic flooding in Maiduguri, Hon. Betara emerged as one of the first responders. Demonstrating deep compassion, he donated 100 million Naira in cash directly to the victims through the State government, ensuring that relief reached those in dire need. His swift response brought immense relief to thousands, setting a clear example of how effective leadership can provide hope in times of crisis.

Hon. Betara’s support didn’t stop there. Following his assistance in Maiduguri, he visited Kwaya-Kusar and Shani Local Government Areas, where he empowered over 10,000 households, particularly women and youths, with substantial cash grants. Many beneficiaries received N20,000 or even N50,000, allowing families to rebuild their lives and sparking economic activity in the region. This initiative boosted the local economy, allowing small businesses to flourish and improve the livelihoods of countless families.

Continuing his wave of impactful support, just a month later, starting Wednesday, November 6, 2024, Hon. Betara returned with his teams to his constituency to extend further assistance. This time, over 8,000 households, primarily women and youth, received vital equipment to bolster their businesses, including refrigerators, sewing machines, deep freezers, and generators. These resources provided many individuals with the tools they need to become self-sufficient, further invigorating the local economy. In Bayo Local Government Area, Hon. Betara distributed cash grants to thousands of women and youths, enabling them to start or expand their small businesses, thus ensuring lasting economic growth.

The smiles and joy on the faces of his constituents speak volumes about the profound impact of Hon. Betara’s initiatives. His contributions have not only empowered individuals but also lifted entire communities. This continued dedication to bettering the lives of his people shows that for Hon.
