HOS Meets New Permanent Secretaries, Read Riot Act

The Kebbi State Head of Service, Alhaji Sufyanu Garba Bena, has strongly charged the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries to remain absolutely loyal, dedicated, and honest in the discharge of their duties.

Bena met with the Permanent Secretaries on Friday in his office at the Cabinet Office, Birnin Kebbi.

He admonished them to exhibit a high sense of maturity, transparency, and professionalism in accordance with Civil Service rules and regulations, while instructing them to be one hundred percent loyal to the Government.

“You should be loyal to the Government 100 percent; anything less than 100 percent is not good enough. But I don’t say you should go beyond your bounds.

‘ Your bounds are when the Government is successful, you should be loyal to the Government,” Bena emphasized.

He charged them to support the government and ensure professionalism in dealing with official government assignments.

While congratulating them on their new appointments, he assured them of his intention to lead them on a courtesy visit to thank the Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu.

Speaking on behalf of the appointees,
Abubakar Nayilwa, Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Basic Education expressed their gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to serve the people of Kebbi State under the leadership of Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, and reassured their commitment to doing their best.

Special prayers were held by Muhammad A. Bala, Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Religious Affairs to thank Allah for His success and guidance in the discharge of their duties.
