I Have Never Gone On “Runs” Or Dated A Politician—Ashmusy

Nigerian skitmaker and brand influencer Amarachi Amusi popularly known as Ashmusy, declared that she had never dated a politician, just as she denied ever being a ‘runs girl’ in order to make ends meet. Ashmusy made this declaration, against the backdrop of the rumour that made the rounds last year that she was having a romantic affair with Nigerian former lawmaker and socialite Dino Melaye.

A renowned Instagram blogger, sparked outrage posting a collage of Dino Melaye, Ashmusy, and Nons Miraj, hinting at their alleged escapades.

The Enugu State-born brand influencer said she worked hard to become what she is today. Sharing her emotional story on #WithChude. Ashmusy said: “I built everything myself. No sugar daddy, no ‘runs,’ no cutting corners. I pulled myself up from nothing. According to her, she pulled herself up from nothing to the multiple successful businesses she owns today.

On her childhood, Ashmusy recalled how her mother endured loan sharks to take care of her and her siblings, while her father was nowhere to be found around them. While in the university, the popular stickmaker said she borrowed hair to pretend to be one of the ‘big girls’ in school. She also borrowed hair to start up her own business. Speaking further, Ashmusy revealed that she attended over 100 auditions, including Big Brother Naija reality TV show, without success.

Recall that months back, Ashmusy was called out by activist Martin Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan for allegedly receiving one million Naira from a businessman for advertising services but failed to deliver.
