Kebbi Governor Mourns Business Tycoon, Alhaji Balanbala Jega, BLB
Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, visited Jega Local Government Area on Monday to express his condolences to the family and people of Jega over the death of prominent businessman, Alhaji Balanbala Jega, BLB.
Alhaji Balanbala Jega, aged 54, died on Sunday after a brief illness in Jega. He is survived by 21 children and four wives.
This was disclosed in a Press statement signed by Yahaya Sarki, Special Adviser to Taraba State Governor On Media and Publicity.
Governor Idris offered prayers for the deceased, seeking Allah’s forgiveness and admission into Al-Jannah Firdaus. He also prayed for the family to be granted the fortitude to bear the loss.
Special prayers were conducted at the residence of the deceased to honor his memory.
Sarkin Kabin Jega, Alhaji Arzika Muhammad Bawa, received the Governor and his entourage on behalf of the bereaved family and expressed gratitude for the condolence visit.
In a related development, Governor Idris also visited the residence of another businessman, late Alhaji Iliyasu Jega, to offer condolences to the family on the recent passing of Hajiya Fadima Iliya, the daughter of the late Alhaji Iliyasu Jega.
