Kebbi Liaison Office, Hotel In Kaduna Set For Modern Transformation – Gov Idris

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has announced plans for the total reconstruction and modernization of the Kebbi Liaison Office and Kebbi Hotel in Kaduna to enhance the state’s internally generated revenue (IGR).
The governor made this commitment during a working visit to assess Kebbi State’s assets in Kaduna.
He noted that the liaison office and hotel in Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna, would undergo a complete overhaul to reflect a befitting and modern outlook, similar to those of other Northern states.
Accompanied by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala-Tafida, Gov. Idris directed the immediate evacuation of illegal occupants from the liaison office to facilitate its renovation.
He also ordered the identification and documentation of all Kebbi State-owned properties in Kaduna, including lands, houses, and structures, with assurances that they would be renovated and utilized effectively to benefit the people of Kebbi State.
Governor Idris emphasized the strategic importance of Kaduna as the hub of Northern Nigeria, describing the liaison office as the face of Kebbi State in the region. He pledged to ensure the facility meets or exceeds the standards of other states’ liaison offices.
“My administration is committed to good governance and impactful leadership, ensuring that all Kebbi people feel a sense of belonging wherever they are,” the governor said.
“This liaison office will be transformed into a modern facility capable of competing favorably with others across the nation.”
This initiative reflects the governor’s determination to optimize the state’s assets and boost development for the benefit of its citizens.
