Projects Monitoring Team completes Inspection of Mosques’ Rehabilitation In Zuru Emirate

The Monitoring Team of the Ministry of Religious Affairs has completed its inspection of mosques rehabilitated under the Kaura 100 Mosques Project by the Kauran Gwandu administration in Zuru Emirate. The team assessed and certified mosques across Zuru, Danko-Wasagu, Sakaba, and Fakai Local Government Areas for quality control.
The inspection was led by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Religious Affairs, Engr. Imran Usman, alongside a Director in the Ministry, Arc. Saudatu Abubakar. The mosques visited include Masallacin Maiwada, Abdullahi Sunnah Mosque, Masallacin Roundabout near the Police Station, and Zuru Central Mosque, all in Zuru Local Government Area.
Others include Centre Izala Mosque, Wasagu, and Masallacin Kofar Gidan Marigyayi Alhaji Bello, Ribah, in Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area.
In Sakaba Local Government Area, the team inspected Masallacin Unguwar Dan Fagge, Dirin Daji, Sabongari Mosque, Dirin Daji, and Anemi Village Mosque. The inspection in Fakai Local Government Area covered Izala (Kaduna) Mosque, Mahuta, Masallacin Manu-Mai-Bula Izala Mosque (Jos), Mahuta, and Masallacin Alhaji Ibrahim Tela, Mahuta.
Traditional rulers, clerics, and community elders expressed deep gratitude to Governor Nasir Idris for prioritizing religious values, fostering peace, and ensuring the prosperity of society. They collectively prayed for his continued success in governance and a prolonged tenure in office.
At Tsangayar Bello Mai Unguwa, Dirin Daji, Islamic teacher Alhaji Umaru Dirin Daji gathered pupils (almajiris) and led solemn prayers for the Governor’s health, wisdom, and divine guidance.
Several community leaders, including Imam Muhammad Maidoki Zuru, Aliyu Abubakar, Sarkin Mallamai Musa Abdullahi Balarabe Zuru, Zubairu Aliyu Wasagu, Abubakar Bello Dirin Daji, Kabiru Dahiru Dirin Daji, Ahmad Suleiman Anemi, and Deputy Imam Abubakar Haliru Ribah, described Governor Idris as a compassionate leader with genuine care for his people.
During a stopover in Koko, the team inspected Alhaji Isa Mai-Mai Mosque, where the spokesperson highlighted Governor Idris’ generosity. He recalled the Governor’s immediate approval of N10 million for a retired teacher, Salihu Idris, to undergo heart surgery. The Governor’s intervention exceeded the initial N6 million required, ensuring the patient’s full recovery.
“We deeply appreciate Governor Nasir Idris’ kindness and commitment to religious and humanitarian causes. May Allah bless him and his family and guide him in leading Kebbi State to greater heights,” prayed Mallam Muhammad, quoting verses from the Qur’an and Hadith.
