PDP Will Win Ondo Despite Leadership Crisis —S-West Party Chair

The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Kebbi State, has commended the management of the State Pilgrims Welfare Agency for the successful conduct of the 2024 Hajj in the Holy Land.

In a press statement signed by the State Secretary, Hon. Abubakar Bawa Kalgo and made available to journalists in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday.

The party also requested those saddled with the responsibility for the operations to tender full accountability to the people of Kebbi State.

In a reaction to their call for accountability on the just-concluded 2024 Hajj excercise, the PDP in the State is too hasty to demand for an explanation whilst the pilgrims have just arrived the State and the committee saddled with the responsibility to tender report of the excercise has not done so yet.

The PDP Is Just Licking Its Own Vomit.

Again, one wonders why the PDP should acknowledge the success of the conduct of the Hajj exercise by the management of the Pilgrims Welfare Agency and the good conduct of the pilgrims in the Holy land and turn around to demand for the so-called accountability when the first batch of the home-bound pilgrims has just landed.

The PDP’s demand is hasty and laced with an ulterior motive as the Kauran Gwandu administration is an open and transparent government.

Success comes with enormous responsibility and liability, only the appropriate resources required were invested for the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage and comfort of the pilgrims both at home and in Saudi Arabia.

Let me remind the PDP that His Excellency, Gov. Nasir Idris hosted NAHCON Chairman and other officials prior to the commencement of airlift. He bared everything his administration had performed to enable departure and return of Kebbi Pilgrims from Birnin Kebbi Airport to Saudi Arabia, away from the experience of last year that compelled them to shuttle to Sokoto for the airlift.

It is on record that before the commencement of the airlift of our pilgrims from Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport Birnin Kebbi to the holy land in Saudi Arabia, Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu made provision for an aviation oil dump at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, for refuelling of the incoming aircraft.

Also, the government hired an aviation consultant to offer advice on whatever was required for successful international flights.

The Governor was not hesitant to tell the world the amount of money expended. He repeated the same thing at the start of the airlift operation in the presence of the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima.

NAHCON has rated Kebbi as having the best arrangement nationwide and commended the governor for subsidising the Hajj fares of all the Kebbi State Pilgrims to the tune of One Million Naira per each pilgrim.

So, it is not surprising just for scoring political gains, the opposition, PDP is making unsavoury noise because of the Kauran Gwandu’s enviable success on the Hajj exercise.

Why The Haste? A comprehensive report on the 2024 Hajj will be available for all to peruse after the return airlift is completed.

As a respectable and credible personality with penchant for sincerety and openness, Governor Nasir Idris appointed a similar impeccable character, former Governor Sa’idu Usman Nasamu Dakingari as the Amirul Hajj and Head of Government Delegation for the Pilgrimage.

Kauran Gwandu is operating a just system, justice has always been the hallmark of our Comrade Leader.

PDP should cease from making unnecessary noise and malice against the people’s Government of Kauran Gwandu.

Prayers for salvation are priceless. We pray to GOD TO DELIVER us from the PDP antics.

The PDP in Kebbi State is crying wolf where there is none. Joblessness has impaired its sense of reasoning. Indeed, hugely deluded they are now.
