In a strange twist, the troubled All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate of Taraba state, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, has been expelled by the ward executive of his party. In a letter signed by all the wards executive, Bwacha was accused of mismanaging the fortunes of the party. The letter signed by the Mararaba, Donga local government ward executives reads in part that Bwacha is guilty of indiscipline, insubordination and general recklessness. (See letter)

This is coming at the heels of another contentious Federal High Court verdict that directed the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to recognise Bwacha as the party flag bearer.

Recall that Bwacha was sacked by the Supreme Court on the grounds that the party did not conduct a valid primaries. The judgement did not give room for a fresh primaries. But Bwacha went ahead to conduct a primaries that saw all the other aspirants boycotting.
