The Governor Of Niger Praises Tinubu For His NAHCON Appointment.
Mohammed Umaru Bago, the governor of Niger State, praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for designating Prof.
In order to represent the nation’s North Central Zone, Muhammad Umaru Ndagi is a member of the National Hajj Commission’s (NAHCON) Board and Management Team.
The governor in a statement by his chief press secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, described the appointment as deserving and commendable.
He said the appointment of Ndagi as a zonal representative is coming at a time when the state government is also making a deliberate effort to ensure that intending pilgrims in the state have a smooth, pleasant and successful pilgrimage.
While appreciating the president for finding him worthy of the appointment, Bago assured him that Prof. Ndagi would be a good representative of the state and the North Central Zone.
He said that the appointment of Prof. Ndagi is like fitting a round peg into a round hole, and he will use his experience to make his fair share of contributions to improving the commission’s effectiveness in accordance with the president’s agenda for renewed hope.
Thus, the governor urged Prof. Ndagi to preserve his honor and integrity and to bring honor to the state.
