We’re Constructing Average Of 10km Roads Per Month —Soludo

Chukwuma Soludo the Governor of Anambra State has restated the state government’s commitment to construct, reconstruct, and rehabilitate an average of 10 kilometers of roads in the state every month.

He disclosed that so far, his administration has done a total of 240 kilometres of roads in all parts of the state within its two years in office, which kicked off March 17, 2022.

Soludo, who make the disclosure, yesterday, while commissioning the newly completed five kilometers of roads linking Port-Harcourt road and Niger Street in Fegge area of Onitsha, in Onitsha South Local Government Area of the state, said apart from roads, the government also has other numerous projects to contend with.

Mentioning hospitals and pipe-borne water as some other projects being embarked upon by his administration to make healthcare delivery system and good drinking water available and affordable to the people in all parts of the state, Soludo noted that having completed Port Harcourt Road and Niger Street, the government would now shift its attention to other adjoining roads in Onitsha like Zik’s Avenue, Silas Works, Miss Elems, among others.
